what does thanksgiving mean to me

Thanksgiving to me doesnt mean alot because i am a jehovas witness and we dont celebrate holidays in our religion. but in my personal opinion to me thanksgiving is when a whole family gets together and gets to visit with eachother over a long time of being absent from eachother and get to just be with eachother. i dont think that thanksgiving is necisarily about the turkey and stuff, to me it is more about the people that you are with instead of the food you are eating. i think it is great when familys just go out to wherever they want for their thanksgiving meal and just hangout and be with eachoter instead of worrying about the food. i think that thanksgiving can go two of ways though. i think it can either be amazing and and a great family experience for everyone or it could go teribly south and create a gigantic fight or rise a bunch of drama. i have heard storys of both sittuations. one was with my friend justin and he said that his family from all over came down to his house and he just ordered pizza and other things that he knew that they liked to eat and they just spent the next couple days together and hung out with eachother doing anything that they could think of that would be fun and would just do it. no question or hesitations. he sats that he looks foresrd to thanksgiving every year because he knows that that is the kind of experience that he will have. But the flip side of that is the example that I heard from my girlfriend Cassie. she says that she dreads thanksgiving and family functions because they always end up fighting and bringing up dirt one eachother and throwing it in eachothers face's.

writing center experience

when i went to the writing center about my compare and contrast paper the tutor that i went to see is Renato. i do best with Renato because he is extremely patiant with me and goes over my material with me very slowly and efficiently. My experience with the writing center is always a good one but i will elaborate on it more. This time the paper was over a compare and contrast of myspace and facebook. i was doing a comparison instead of a contrast. some of the main topics that i touched on was how facebook and myspace both are great social networking cites that will help you stay in touch with family and friends that live far away from you. you are able to use facebook and myspace as a dateing service aswell. Facebook and Myspace both have many many applications that you can play with, but facebook is well known for the better applications that you have to chose from and the better graphics and all around set up of the games. another thing that myspace and facebook have in common that i talked about in my paper was how they both are used for multiple things besides talking with your friends. such as on facebook and myspace if you wanted to have a online meeting with your employees you are able to have an online meetings over these social networking sites. some of the diffenences that i talked about between facebook and myspace is how facebook is takeing away all of myspaces clients and is fortold to go bankrupt in the next couple of years. and the main reson that i believe this is is because of all the new and bette applications that facebook posesses.

Summarize articles on FaceBook and MySpace

Some of the articles that we had to go over in class today were "FaceBook and Divorce: Airing your Dirty Laundry", "How safe is MySpace?", and "MySpace vs Facebook competing addictions." These three articles are talking about a similar subject just wording it in different ways. the first article "Facebook and Divorce: Airing your Dirty Laundry" is about any kind of drama that would come from haveing a facebook or things that happen outside of your social networking site that can influence drama on your page. For instance an example that I personaly see happen all of the time is when a couple is going through a bad time and haveing difficultys in their relationship then when they have a fight outside of their social networking site then they would break up with their loved one over Facebook or their MySpace and then it will just make things worse for the couple. Their are times that people will put songs or posts on their Facebook or MySpace and their ex-girfriend/boyfriend will see or hear the song or post and get angry at them because they think that the thing is directed twords them and take offense to it. That is another thing that can happen in a social networking site that would cause alot of drama and problems. another of the things that one of the articles was talking about is how Facebook and Myspace are both so addicting and are competing for the most addictive things on the sites. For example Facebook in my opinion is the most addicting because of the supperior applications that are on it. More and more people are starting to switch over to Facebook because they think that it is generally a better site. and the stock numbers between facebook and myspace are their to back up that assumption. i have both a facebook and a myspace account and i can tell you that i go on Facebook and dont even touch my myspace account because i like facebook much much better.

summarize you tube video: Dana Boyd

Dana Boyd is a women who is doing a presentation on the effect that myspace, facebook, and other social networking sites have on the people of the world in this time. Dana talks about the differnt kinds of people that have the internet or do not and how much access that these people have. she talks about all of the good things about haveing access to the internt and the bad things about it. she says that people in the world today are talking more and more on the social networking sites and if you dont have one or are not able to get on at the time then you are "out of the loop" as people say. She talks about how much time the people are spending on the social networking sites and how people are being connected by it all around the world and how it also brings drama to people. The good things that Dana talks about the social networking sites is that they let you keep in contact with people that you normally can not talk to in your life because of distance issues or whatever the issue is. it helps you keep in touch with family and close friends too. The down side to being on the social networking sites for an abundant abount of time is it will take away form the school or other work that you have to get done and can dramatically bring your school grades down. it can take face time away from the people that you do actually get to see and make those relationships weaker. an iteresting fact that i heard about bein gon the social networking sites is that studys show that being on the social networking sites can actually improve you intelegence because you are interacting with people and in doing so your social skills go up and your overall intellegence increses because of the good contact you are haveing with people.

exploring myspace and facebook

Myspace and Facebook are both social networking sites that can incorporate every person in the world if they all had a myspace or facebook profile. Both these social networking sites are very similar but at the same time different. One way that myspace is different from facebook is that on myspace you can change the backround of your home page and if you want add music to your home page to personalize it. On facebook you can not change the wallpaper of the page and can not put music to the page so their is not too much personalization you can do with the facebook. myspace is supposed to go bankruped within the next couple of years and facebook has now toppled myspace as the number one social networking site in the world, even though mypace was created befor facebook, myspace is trying to copy facebook because facebook is coming up with new ideas that myspace didnt think of first and is makeing lots of money off of it. Myspace and Facebook are too very similar web sites but in my opinion the thing that truely sets them appart is the difference in the applications they both have. even though myspace was made before facebook, facebook made up the concept of applications and has made so much money off of it that myspace has tried to coppy it but hasnt done a great job of it. myspace's attempt on mimicing facebooks applications in my opinion are very very poorly done compared to facebooks. the graphics are much worse, their are less people on line, and they dont entertain you as much as the facebook aplications. the next big thing that is differnt between the facebook and myspace is the personal settings that you can apply to myspace you can not do to facebook, but in my opinion the personalzation that you can do to myspace and not facebook isnt too important.

summarization of obesity articles

The two articles that we went over today in class were "Brazilian Obesity: The Big Girl from Impanema" and "Health and Fitness: Snip, Suction, Stetch and Truss". These two articles are both talking about different serveys that go on in therir country. The first survey that I read about was the one on Brazilian Obesity. This article talks about how in Brazil obesity has increased steadily but the obesity rate from what you read is still very very low over in Brazil. The percentage of obese people in brazil is somwhere between 13 and 14 percent which compared to the rest of the world is extremely low. The kinds of food that people eat in Brazil are foods that are not too fatening or have too many callories. Brazilian people exercise alot and it is always very hot so the combination of the kind of food they eat along with the exercise and heat helps them to stay in shape and have a low rate of obesity. The percentages of obesity that the article gives you is it says that 13 percent of brazilian adults are obese. Out of the 13 percent 12.4 percent of the obese people are male and 13.6 percent are female. The government and writers in Brazil are saying that if Brazil doesnt change its ways then it is going to be in for a unhealthy and expansive future. The next article that we went over in class was Health and Fitness: Snip, Suction, Stretch and Truss. This article is all about the physical abuse that people are putting themselves through to look younger, and how much they are paying for it. People now of days can have all kinds of surgerys done to themselves to make themselves apear younger than they really are. People are haveing their face cut to reduce lines on their face, getting their stomaches cut and stapled to make themselves look skinnyer, and many other procedures are out for people to have to change their appearance and make themselves look younger and skinnyer.

summarization of facebook and myspace articles

The four articles that we went over today in class are "Colleges scan facebook during admissions", "Jury out on Facebook's Impact on Grades", Facebook Sparks Suspicion", "Does Facebook Replace Face Time or Enhance it." The over all message of all these articles is that being on Facebook is going to make your grades decline steadily or quickly, but it is not good to be on it for a great deal of time. All of these articles are jam packed with different statistics and quotes. Some of the statistics from the article "Jury out on Facebook's impact on grades" are "Higher-education officials and social networking experts said long term research--a study that lasts several years--would be needed before academics could determine more definitively whether using Facebook and other sites has an effect on student grades." In my personal life I see alot of students who use facebook and myspace alot in their days, almost any time they have a free minute or class they are on their myspace or facebook. I see this in my college life and would see it even more when I was in highschool. My fellow class mates would be on Myspace or Facebook for hours on end useing up their time they shoud have and could have been spending doing finishing their three day late hw. On the flip side of all this bashing on how social networking systems takes up too much time in the normal persons life; these different social networking sites play a very important role in keeping in touch with family members, close friends, and other loved ones that do not live in your area. In my opinion these social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace do play big roles in spending time on them instead of spending time on things you should be doing. But all of these articles are spending all of their time bashing on these sites when in reality it isnt just these sites that are the problem, it is any activity that a person can spend an anordite amount of time on. This could be any sport, video game, or hobby that a person can have. So these networking sites are not the main problem of peoples inordinate time wasting, it is in fact the people not knowing how to use their time properly that is the problem.

Pandora and Last FM

Today in class was a fun and interesting one. We went down to the computer lab and used the computers to look at two free music sites that anyone can go onto and use. The first that we went on to was a site called Pandora. Pandora is a music site that allows you to type in the exact song you want to hear and it will bring it up for you and talk about the history of the song and band that you are listening to. The coolest thing that the Pandora site has to offer is when you do type in and pull up the song that you want to listen to it will give you a number of different songs and bands that are alike to the band that you brought up and it will create a "radio station" the plays only those songs that you approve of and will save your various stations to the profile that you created. The next web site that we look at was one called Last FM. Last FM isnt entirely different from Pandora. The major difference in the two websites is that Last FM also plays the song you typed in's music video. It will search the web or its database for your song and its official music video. I think that both of these web sites are amazing for giving out such a service for free, but if I had to pick one of these to use the most it would be Pandora because it allows you to create stations for yourself and at the same time shows you other music that is simalar to the music you chose to listen to and thinks you would like so you can find new music to listen to as well. The class today was extremely fun and would love to do things like this in the near future.

my writing center visit on descriptive essay

In class we have started to discuss and write a descriptive essay on a semi new phenomenon called "vloging". Vloging is when any person makes a video of themself and puts it on the internet for viewers to watch as they please. One persons vlog could be watched by millions of people or and a handfull, but the number of people is normally not important. What is important is that the maker of the vlog puts themselves out for the world to see and is able to experience vloging and decide how they feel about it. And in many cases vloging has changed peoples lives and way they think about the world, as silly as it may sound people have found themselves in their vlogs. The most popular way of vloging by far is by way of the constant streaming video which is youtube. The vlog that I decided to write my descriptive essay about in the end is a vlog that is by a name called Supermac18. I chose this vlog because it is full of animation and colors and other things that you could go into deep detail about when you start to describe the events in the clip. Our class was instructed by Mrs. Crawford to make and go to an appointment in the english writing center. I made my appointmet early and had it. It was as always a great help to myself and my rough draft paper that I had brought to the meeting. The thing that I wanted to go over and emphesise the most in the meeting was how I could make my paper full of description but at the same time make it flow to sound good. My tutor went over the paper with me sentence by sentence to help me see the changes we were making and how he was helping me with the exact thing I wanted to go over the most.

2nd comment on friends blog

The other person that I chose to comment on about their blog was Justin. And more specifically the blog one blog that I decided to comment on out of his others is the one titled “what we did in class!!!” this blog is about the new things that he is being challenged with as a new college student and more specifically in our English teachers class Mrs. Crawford. He talks about the new assignments he is being challenged with like having to write blogs that are steadily getting larger and larger. He talks about the things we are having to do in class such as group discussions and having to comment in class practically every day in order to get credit for the day because one way to earn credit is to actively participate in class and start discussions. All in all I believe that Justin’s blogs are well put together and enjoyable to read.

1rst comment on friends blog

The first blog that I decided to comment on is from my friend and classmate Chris. There are multiple blogs that he as has put out on blogger.com, but the one that I wanted to comment on was the blog about his “fixing papers”. This blog was all about how Chris and I helped each other fix our papers that we had to write for English class. He wrote the process we used to fix our papers up to what we believed were presentable. After writing our papers the day before we went into class prepared to revise for the first time. The thing that I most needed to work on was making my paper longer, much longer actually. And the thing Chris wanted to work on was fixing small things such as repeating words. In class we joined up into groups and took turns passing around our papers in the group and reading them out loud so we could actually hear the problems that we faced. And when we were done reading them all and discussing them we were supposed to pick out one question that we had about our papers and then when we went to the writing center to revise our final draft with a tutor we would have to present the question you came up with and make that your main point of focus. My question was “How do I make my paper longer?” Chris’s question was “How do I make my paper flow more?” Chris ends his blog by hoping that we did good on our papers and get good grades on them

blog on "first vlogs"

after watching the you tube video "the anthropology of you tube" which was very eye opening and made me look at you tube in an entirely different way, we are looking at something that the video talked very much about which is "vloging". Vloging is when any person goes on to you tube and makes a video of themselves and simply talks about themselves, and this could be their very first vlog or their 100th vlog. it is simply about putting themselves out their for whatever their reasons are. some people do it simply to entertain themselves and others, some do it for class assignments, and some do it so they can simply vent to someone because they find it more comfortable to speak to a computer camera than to another person. the vlog that i chose to write about is one on a girl named esemee denters. she is from the Netherlands and is a now famous singer in America that has recently released her first single and has become a smash hit especially on you tube. her vlog is simply to talk to her fans and tell them more about herself, she wants her fans to have a more personal connection to her and her music. attached to this blog are multiple videos of her singing songs that she enjoys singing and of course her hit song. in the vlog she tells viewers her interests and intentions in music and also things that she is personally interested in. she says that she has an "obsession" with Egypt and points the camera in the direction of her walls to she the audience all of the Egyptian posters in her room. she simply wants to connect with other people and her mass number of fans and experiment with her own comfortability boundries to improve herself

The Antropology of YouTube

The way I used to view YouTube was either a way to look up how to do something i wanted to learn or to look up something that would entertain me for a little while before i go do what i really wanted to do with my day. I would have never thought that it is as important to people as breathing. After watching the antropology of YouTube i have completely 180'ed my first thoughts about YouTube. It is all the things i said it is but it also has a much deeper and richer use and meaning. Before geting into that topic though i want to talk about just a couple of the facts of YouTube and see if you can wrap your mind around them. on YouTube their are 9232 hours of video are uploaded in a single day which is the equivilant of 385 always on television channels and is 200000 3 minute videos which is not mass media, 88 percent of content coming through is new and original. The people on YouTube are able to express themselves in completely new and exciting ways and show it to anyone that cares to watch. Anyone can find anything on YouTube. Weather its songs, shows, songs about YouTube, "how to do" whatever you want to learn, or people just acting silly the possibilities are endless. aproximately 15 percent of videos on YouTube are remixes of previous videos. The song crank that solja boy started on you tube as a kid that made the song and dance and simply posted it on YouTube that blew up into what it is today. In conclusion YouTube is all of the things i spoke of in this blog but to countless numbers of people it is much much more than that. their are people on YouTube that dont make videos to be noticed but instead to coap with their every day lives. they can either simply vent to the "invisible audience" or make up persons that they find ammuseing to bring people together with themselves and that above anything else helpls them coap with life. they believe in the most simple of medicins is laughter

reflecting on class experience

in class today the basic descussion was about our papers on an unfair assignment that we recieved on either multiple assigments or on a biger assigment like a test or project and we had to write to a friend or family member about how unfair it was and how we were going to try and fix it. we got together in groups of 3 or 4 and we all brainstormed about how we could write the best paper we could. we talked about who we would write to, some things we would say to the person we were writing to, and how we would ask to resolve our bad grade problem. i said to the group that i didnt want to write to a personal friend because everyone else would be doing that and i wanted my paper to be different than everyone elses so i decided to write to my uncle clouse who lives in germany. i told him what exactly happened with my bad grade and how unfair i thought it was and that i was going to go to my teacher in the near future to tell her what i thought and ask that she either change my grade or give me some extra credit assigments so i could raise my grade to a passing average. in the next class we had we had to get back into some groups with our first draft finished and come up with a question that we had on our paper and we had to solve that question to enhance our paper. my question was how can i make my paper longer. and in my group we disscussed many ways we could do that and then we would help the next person in my group in the same manner.

difference between blog 3 and email etiquette essay

In my blog number 3 I wrote about how I would write to one of my friends or familly members about one of my teachers giveing me a bad grade and what i would do about it to get my grade up to where i wanted it to be. my class had to write a logical, fluint and corect email to describe how unpleased we were with our grade in the class. i decided to write to my uncle clouse who lives in germany. i told him all about how my techer was completely unfair in the way she gave me the grades that i did not deserve. i talked about the amount and quality of the work that i did and how other people in class did work that was much simplier than mine and got a better grade than myself. i said told my uncle that i would go in the next day to talk to my teacher about the unfair grades and if she could take a second look at the work i did and if she agreed thati had done a better job than the grade percieved then maybe she would change it for me. if she didnt agree with me and felt that my paper was lacking and did indeed deserve the grade that she gave me then i would please request that she give me some extra credit assigments so i could bring my grade up to where i wanted it to be.
in the email etiquitte assignment we had to create a fictional and fluent email that effectively described our problem with the grades we recieved and ask if our teacher could raise our grades. our entire class had to set an appointment in the writing lab before we could turn in our final draft of this assignment. the main problem that i had with this assigment was i needed to find a way to make it much longer than what i had first written it out to be. my appointment to meet a tutor in the writing center was at 4 oclock. i went in and sat with my tutor and was pleasently suprised at how easily we made my short paper into a well rounded and writen assigment. he worked litteraly sentence by sentence with me to make the paper the best it could be. by the time me and my tutor were finished i had an entire page full of notes and things i should insert to my paper. i will be going back their in the future for sure

Reflecting On My Workshop Experience

The first time I heard that everyone in our class had to go to the writeing center and have our paper reviewed in order to even be turned in i honestly thought that that is silly and will be a waste of my time. And i didnt enjoy the fact that i had to go to my appointment for the writing center at 4:00 when my classes ended at 12:00 and i had to wait at school. In english class we took a trip to the writing center before so we knew where it was and how to use it exactly. we met all of the tutors and attendents in the writing center in class before we had to make an appointment. When Iwent in to the writeing center for my appointment I went in very tierd and in a normal yet frustrated manner because I had to be their at 4 o clock and waited till 12. In class the day before we had group discussions in groups and the goal of our disscussions was to find a question about our paper that would help us enhance it in any way. My question was "How do i make my paper longer" because i was haveing troubles doing it because it was supposed to be in the form of a email and im my mind emails are short and to the point so i didnt know how to make it 300 words long. When I sat down with my tutor we first disscussed exactly what i had to do and the format my paper so we didnt make any mistakes about writing it. After we disscussed the requirements for the paper we began to actually write the paper and i was very supprised and pleased with how much my tutor helped me in makeing my paper much longer than what it was and how he showed me how to make it flow into one entire well done paper. He took it litteraly sentence by sentence with me so i fully understood what i was writeing and how it helped the paragraph and paper. When we were done I had an entire paper full of notes and things i should incorporerate in my paper. When I left the writing center that day i left extremely happy because I recieved so much help on paper and learned so much helpfull information about how to correctly write a paper.

Internet Dating

Internet dating to me is looked and perceived in two ways. One way i look at internet dating is that it is an excellent and extremely helpful tool for people who are shy or want to ease themselves back into the dating scene for whatever reason they have that they were gone. The other way i look at internet dating is it is sometimes scary, unreliable, and even creepy way to find someone that you want to essentially spend time with and even create a future with. I personally would much rather go out somewhere or just go to places I go anyway like convenience store or library or school and approach a girl and talk to her and ask for her number and get to know her that way instead of trusting in an internet ad and wondering if it is even true that this person is actually a women! But i understand that their are plenty of people that find just approaching a member of the opposite sex for no reason and carrying on a normal conversation with them in hopes to "get her number" and talk to her more is just simply beyond them and couldn't even imagine it. The reason i would rather do this is because at least this way i know that at least this person is visually who they say they are and in spending time and talking with that person i can tell if they are someone i would want to bring into my life. One thing that some people do not like about dating services is allot of people think that they are racist against gays. One website that gets the better part of the bashing on the subject of gay discrimination is e-harmony. A couple reasons people say that e-harmony is excluding gays is because the founder Neil Clark Warren is a conservative  christian who is "a man who apparently thinks gays are some kind of a different species." e-harmony is not the only website that seems like it excludes gays from their website but they are the leading website in finding a partner so they are going to get most of the blow back from this. Their are allot of cool things about internet dating that have recently been added though. The one that i found the most interesting is that their is a website where two persons can create avatars for themselves and go out on a virtual date together on a couple of different scenarios. For instance one scenario would be a walk in the park or going to see a movie together and you can go on this date from the comfort of your own home eliminating the worry of an akword conversation or saying the wrong thing because you were nervous. And you can even ask for a kiss at the end of your virtual date.

2 topic discussions

Today in class we discussed several different topics but two topics that really caught my attention were the ones on how "technology helps students adopt good study habits", and the article on "reading, writing, and iphoning". In the article "technology helps students adopt good study habits" the author talks about a system on the computer that each student gets as soon as they log into their school account. what this program does is when a student logs into his or her account something similar to a traffic light system appears where the colors green, yellow, and red symbolize the students grade status in a class. Green would symbolize that the student is doing well in the class and the program has personal messages from their teachers encouraging them to keep up the good work. a yellow light means the student is probably in the grade average of a high or low C and needs t0 tread carefully so he or she doesn't slip into failing, and a red light ofcourse indicates that the student is failing the class and needs to bring up the grade and it has personal messages from the teacher saying exactly how the student could do this.
In the article "reading writing and iphoning" it talks about the advantages of haveing something that can ne described as an internet in your pocket device. it van be used to look up imporant information for any of your classes at any time. but students can also use their internet picket devices to look up things that they shouldny be on in class and could be a major distraction for the students. when students started goint to abilene christian university they were given tshirts, orientation packets, and either an iphone or ipod touch. in my opinion giveing out iphones and ipod touches is only a scheme to draw students to their school. i think all of the things the school could say to justify themselves like how they could look up important things in class could be done the same or even better with a standard computer that the school supplies or the students would buy themselves.

Todays Lesson

Todays discussion on exactly what and how we are going to be studying and writing about really opened my eyes to the level of work we are going to be doing in class and in college life. in high school and in middle school you had enough home work and studies to keep you busy but in college it is all done by yourself, everything is based on you paying attention and doing your work on time. if you dont it is your fault and no one else's and i love that. in our english class we started at 100 words for a blog and gradually progressed, and now we are at 300 words. to me 300 words is a challenge because i have trouble finding out exactly how i want to write a paper, but it is a challenge i am ready to take head on to better my writing skills. Our next assignment is we have to read up on 2 given topics and compare the 2 and talk about what they both meant and what they meant to us individually. The overall discussion that we had the other day was a good one that really helped me look into the future of what we will be doing in our english class.

bad grade complaint

Dear Uncle Clouse

Hey uncle. Haven’t gotten the chance to talk with you that much lately. I’ve been real busy of late. I have been working as much as I can, playing in pool tournaments too. I got fifth place in one of them. Also I have been trying to make as much time as I can to spend time with my girlfriend. And on top of all this I have school to juggle around in their too. But the crapiest thing happened the other day. In school I have a math class and my teacher is not very understanding about my time constraints at all. He knows that I have all of these things to juggle around with my schedule but yet he doesn’t care an will give me an F if I even think about turning in something a day late. The other day I had work at the pool hall where I work and I don’t get out until 3:30 in the morning and had to have my home work finished and on his table at 8:00 when class starts an I couldn’t finish it when I arrived home because I was too exhausted to concentrate and do my work. I even fell asleep attempting to do it. So I came in the next day with it half completed and told him my situation and asked if he could possible give me till the end of the day to complete it and turn it in to him but of course he refused, gave me a failing grade on the assignment, and on top of it all I have to go back in to work today…

Davids writing proccess

My writing process is very simple. procrastinate, brainstorm, handwrite, and then type it out and print it or whatever I have to do to turn in my paper. I will do anything to procrastinate. I had to clean my room or take a shower or give my dog a bath. any excuse I can find to procrastinate I will find it. I will procrastinate to the last minute but I will always give myself the time I need to get what I need to finished. when I do actually sit down and start to write my paper the first thing I do is brainstorm. the way I like I like to do this is I will draw a bubble chart with my topic in the middle and branch out ideas from their. as an example the last topic I wrote about was how I will use technology in everyday life. and when I formed my bubble chart first I wrote the topic in the middle and then thought about all the ways I use technology in my life and then wrote how exactly I use those things in my life. after Im done brainstorming my ideas into a bubble chart I start to handwrite my paper first so I can get it all down without any mistakes. and finally when I am done with hand writing my paper I finish the process by typing and turning in my paper.

How I use technology in my everyday life

"How I use technology in my everyday life"

In the life of an average person today technology is essential for them to work at their best. probobly the most important and the one with the simplest but most essential of tasks is your car. just like a person needs to get to work on time it is important that a student arive at their class on time as well, and a car will help them with that exponentially. a computer either just haveing access to the the use of one or haveing your own personal laptop will help tremendously in a stidents life. for example if I had to write a paper on a subject I wasnt familiar with I would need to do reasearch to write I would need to do reasearch to write a good paper, and the best and most modern way to do this is to look up your subject on the computer. these are only a couple of the things that I will use in my everyday life as a college student. I also use my ipod, credit card, cell phone, etc. without these things at my disposal I wouldnt be able to function as a successfull student.
